993 part designs

Parts we are modelling ourselves for the 993, many of them for the Turbo: from trim pieces a desktop printer could make to engine parts that would need metal printing and a full qualification programme. Every record is a concept. Each page says what the design is for, what it is based on and what it has not yet shown.

How to read these records

“F0” and “F1” mark the first and second design iterations. Dimensions are estimates or assumptions unless a page says they were measured; renderings come from the design scripts, not from photographs of parts. No record here reports a part fitted or tested on a car, and none is offered for sale.

36 records have images of their CAD geometry. 7 records still need a part image; their status cards are placeholders and are not included in the CAD image count.

Imported from our private engineering repository at revision da4ff10(). Scripts, meshes and evidence files stay in that repository; the public sources each record cites are linked on its page.
