How entries are built

Specifications come from manufacturer press material and technical documentation, and every entry links to its sources. Descriptions are written here rather than copied from vendor product pages, and product photography is not reproduced — the link goes to the manufacturer, who can serve their own images.

Performance numbers carry a basis. Almost every weight and power figure in circulation for this class of part is manufacturer-published and routinely repeated as though independently tested; entries say which is which. Entries also carry a confidence rating, and a low rating stays low until the manufacturer confirms the detail.

“Porsche”, “911”, “Carrera”, “Targa” and “Turbo” are trademarks of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG. They are used here nominatively, to identify which vehicles a part fits.
