Bosch mechanical injection pumps

The pump each 911 E, S and TE was built with from model year 1969 to 1973, with the Porsche number it carries. 10 references across 3 displacements, read from one page of Porsche’s own service-school brochure.

These numbers were typed by hand, not parsed. OCR of this page read901 110 226 00 as 901 710 226 00. A part number wrong by one digit looks entirely plausible and orders the wrong pump, so the table was read off a 200 dpi render by eye instead. Check it against your own copy before ordering.

The page gives the same Porsche number, 911 110 253 00, against two different Bosch numbers for the 2.4 litre S. That is what it prints, and it is recorded here rather than corrected.

Mechanical Fuel Injection — check, measure, adjust, Porsche Aktiengesellschaft, Kundendienstschule. 52 pages; this table is on page 43. The brochure is undated. "Up to the present" reaches model year 1973, which places it no earlier than 1972. Two rows give the same Porsche number, 911 110 253 00, against two different Bosch numbers: that is what the page prints, and it is recorded rather than corrected.

Only the summary table is reproduced. The brochure’s timing and adjustment procedures are authored text and stay in the document, which is where a reader doing the work should be looking anyway.
