This is the 993 Turbo engine carrier. It is a structural part, it has been read in the factory parts catalogue rather than copied from a listing, and nobody makes an alternative to it — the one tubular carrier that comes close is explicitly not for the Turbo. What counts as 3D printed
Vendor marketing blurs this, so the catalog does not. Most shipping “3D printed” exhaust systems are not printed end to end — Akrapovič prints the titanium inner shell of its limited-edition 992 GT3 system and wraps it in a ceramic matrix composite sleeve; BBi prints the crossover on its GT2 RS system and fabricates the rest. Both are genuinely additive, and neither is a printed exhaust. Entries record which components are printed, by which process, in which alloy.
The same rule runs through everything here. Carbon is split by layup because prepreg and wet lay-up differ by a third in weight. Titanium is split by grade because Ti-6Al-4V gives up where Ti-6242 keeps going. Fitment is only claimed where the factory catalogue proves it — and where a part turns out not to fit, the catalog says so on its own page.
What the catalog cannot tell you
Everything above is something a manufacturer or the factory has published. What nobody publishes is which of it actually works — what fits without persuasion, what failed at 40,000 km, which shop got the geometry right the first time. That belongs in the forum, kept deliberately separate so that opinion never leaks into the catalog. Corrections to this site go there too, with the source; they get fixed and credited.
