M64 four-valve cylinder head — creation preparation
ConceptNot authorised until engineering review
First part in the catalogue-led engine creation sequence. Continues the existing finned four-valve M64 cylinder-head research and its private scan-derived geometry. This record establishes scope, interfaces and verification work; it supplies no released replacement CAD or print file.

The design

- Other candidate processes
- CNC machining, casting, Laser powder-bed fusion (metal printing)
- Material
- not selected; hot-property and process qualification required
- Material standard
- not selected
Known limits
- Exact physical access to a 993 Turbo M64/60 head is unconfirmed.
- The existing 935 scan is a proxy, not metrology of the exact target part.
- Existing native CAD and rejected mesh experiments are retained unchanged; this record does not claim a new complete head.
- Stud pattern, sealing register, hidden galleries and thermal loads are not established by catalogue images.
- Four-valve packaging, twin ignition, actuation, lubrication and cooling require their own checks.
- LLM benchmark scores do not qualify CAD, CFD, alloy, printing, fitment or engine operation.
Post-processing it would need
- Define datum machining, seat and guide bores, sealing faces and internal cleaning after geometry and alloy review.
What a supplier would have to provide
- Confirm access to the exact target donor and metrology scope.
- Qualify the exact alloy, machine, process, orientation and heat treatment.
- Provide traceable inspection, hot fatigue data and professional engineering review before any release.
