The public catalogue works without a user account and does not need an advertising cookie.

Essential forum session

Signing in to the forum sets pf_session. It contains a random session token, is marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, and has a maximum age of 30 days. It is required to recognise the signed-in member and is removed when the member signs out.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare may apply infrastructure-level security mechanisms to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics, when enabled, is used for aggregate traffic and performance measurement. Cloudflare documents Web Analytics as cookie-free and says that it does not collect or use visitors’ personal data.

Advertising choices

Google AdSense is not active in the default build. Before advertising is activated for visitors in Switzerland, the EEA or the United Kingdom, a Google-certified consent management platform will be configured. Its persistent “Privacy and cookie settings” control will let eligible visitors revisit their decision. Rejecting advertising cookies will not block access to the catalogue.
