# Third-party assets & attributions > **Code vs. assets.** The FLAT·SIX application code is MIT-licensed (see > [`LICENSE`](./LICENSE)). This NOTICE governs the **third-party assets** bundled > with the app — 3D models and reference imagery — which carry their own, > separate licences and attribution requirements. ## 3D models (exterior) The exterior vehicle models are used under the **Creative Commons Attribution 4.0** license (CC BY 4.0 — https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). The in-app attribution is shown in the Garage 3D viewer (exterior view). ## Procedural models (internals) The engine, transaxle, brakes, and other internal component models under `public/models/components/` are **original procedural geometry** generated by this project's pipeline (`npm run gen:components`, see `tools/gen/`). No third-party asset is used for them. ## Reference imagery Reference photos used to inform the procedural geometry were sourced from Wikimedia Commons (various CC licenses) and are kept only as build-time references under `tools/gen/refs/` — they are not redistributed in the app.
